As a successful minority business owner in Texas, I contacted Innovation Refund to act as a financial mediator between my company and the IRS to obtain funds owed to my business in the form of the ERC, established by Congress to assist small businesses that were impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Rather than operating as a trusted business with values, integrity, and ethics, their representatives chose to exercise the MOST heinous and unjust acts of UNLAWFUL, UNETHICAL DISCRIMINATION and DEFAMATION of my business reputation; all to mask and fulfill their attempts to defraud and steal funds from my company that were allocated to K & L AUTOZONE and other minority companies that were eligible to receive the ERC refund from the IRS. They were very negligent and dishonest with the handling of my financial records. They violated my company’s rights to privacy and full disclosure by discussing my business with other businesses in spreading defamatory allegations and bearing false accusations against my company’s name and brand. Finally, as I search through their website and read their reviews on the BBB, it’s easily seen that they have NOT successfully assisted one minority owned business in recovering these accessible funds, NOT ONE! Instead they chose to disseminate their opportunity to create diverse business relations and inclusion, due to their prejudice efforts of continuing to carry on the antique torch of discrimination against Black enterprise and entrepreneurship. If I could undue the promotional marketing that I did on behalf of this company, I would! By no means would I ever refer or recommend other businesses in my network to consult with an organization of such low and unethical standards, let along trust as a reputable source to do good business with. NEVER! My next step is to contact the EEOC and the Federal Trade Commission about these people’s practices. Please BEWARE if you are a MINORITY!
