Honestly... I was skeptical. The whole ERC thing seemed too good to be true. But like PPP & Covid Stimulus, the government is kind of nuts with our money, and I figured I'd give it a look. I tried pursuing ERC through my accountant, but they weren't well versed in the nuances, and they weren't familiar with the second of the two tests to determine qualification, the one I met. Innovation Refunds was both an expert on the process and willing to represent me and my story in front of the IRS. The whole process played out *exactly* as Benjamin Inbody and his colleagues said it would. It was kind of strange just how accurately they (Benjamin, Kaelen, and Justin) predicted what my business accountants would say (that I'd not qualify), and they set my expectations appropriately as far as the timeline was concerned. They kept me up to date along the way. I wouldn't have been surprised to receive little communication from them, but just the opposite, they communicated and kept in touch at every step. Nothing happens quickly with the IRS, but my patience paid off. One definitely gets what one pays for.
