Great experience with a great company. They were very professional and very easy to work with. They always followed up with me to make sure I was aware of the status and it was a very smooth process. It starts out really well with Innovation Refunds. They’re super nice on the phone, really prompt, good technology to make it easy to upload documents, and the filing process is pretty easy after speaking with an attorney. After the filing is completed, they fall off the rails. I’m trying to get a breakdown report of each employee with their wages and corresponding credit breakdown, and I keep getting pushback from them. Various comments such as “the attorney is really busy”, “this is proprietary information we don’t have access to”, and other really concerning statements. If they can’t accommodate such a simple request, it makes me question whether the filing was even truly accurate. Now I might need to hire another CPA just to review the filing. I would exercise extreme caution and make sure you ask lots of questions.

From the first call to the collection of our refund, they made everything easy and guided us every step of the way. All I had to do was provide the documents they requested and they got to work. I felt comfortable and confident that things were done right because their staff includes tax accounts as well as tax attorneys to do all the heavy lifting!
