I had heard of the ERC funds but thought it was probably a scam. It sounded too good to be true and as hard-working contractors our experience has been that the money only goes one way – from us to the IRS, never the reverse. Adrean Johnson-Wigley was our initial contact and after talking with him we were convinced that Innovation Refunds was legitimate and decided to see if we would qualify, but to be honest, we still had doubts. Our next contact was Hope Guill and she was wonderful! Hope took our 941 information and made sure it was complete and ready to forward to their tax experts. She was beyond helpful, always cheerful and pleasant and never failed to return a phone call or email. If it wasn’t for her help and encouragement, I’m not sure we would have made it to the next step. Once it was determined that our company did indeed qualify for a substantial refund, the amended returns were sent to the IRS and the wait for processing began. At that point we were handed off to Josh Cohen, another very knowledgeable and helpful member of the team. Josh kept tabs on our progress and advised us as needed. He regularly called and emailed with information and sometimes just to check in. Once we received the refund checks Josh kept things moving forward until our business with Innovation Refunds was finished. As a happy customer I can now tell you that ERC is real and worth pursuing. Innovation Refunds is a reputable company who can help you get some of your hard-earned money back from the IRS. Thank you, Innovation Refunds!

Overall, the experience has been pretty good so far. I have received all of my refunds and have paid out the 25% to IR. I am a little worried if I should get audited in the next 3 years if IR will still be in business to take part in the audit. My CPA didn't think I qualified but the folks at IR assured me I was. We'll see.Also, I know I will come out ahead in the end but, a little curious as to how much I will actually walk away with after paying IR, paying additional taxes, and paying the fees to my CPA.Only downside is IR is a little annoying in contacting you constantly while waiting on refunds. I don't know, maybe that's automated.*****************************, *************** and *************************** were all helpful in the process.

We went through the initial interview to determine eligibility and were informed of how the process works. So here goes, I heard the ads on the radio. And I thought this sounds plausible. Ask our CPA who said we DID NOT qualify. I contacted Innovation Refunds myself and they said "we hear that every day." They ask me some questions and they said we DID qualify. They explained the process. Initial application maybe 10-15 mins. Then I paid my CPA to gather all the forms & paperwork they needed. We're a small company with 20 employees. Tyler Phanmaha, Ashton Nowell, Justin Godwin and Michelle Boren were the team that did all the heavy lifting behind the scenes. I spent maybe an hour writing a narrative about the trials & tribulations we endured thru COVID 19. Then sat back and waited exactly 7 months to get our checks. We got 6 very nice checks. I'm not gonna spend it, i'm putting it in the bank & let it earn 5% interest. :-).
